St.Stephen's School

Class RMR

Welcome to RMR, where we love to learn in our classroom and our garden!

Our teacher is called Mizzy and she is very impressed to see how grown up we are, considering that we are the youngest pupils in our primary school. We are very lucky to have lots of other adults to help us in Reception too. Mina and the nursery nurses are ready to help us with our learning and make our classroom activities fun and interesting.

In our classroom we love to read stories together and act them out too. We use our growing imagination to help us tell our own stories as well. In Reception we work very hard to learn all our phonic sounds so that we can practise blending and learn how to read on our own. It is a very exciting time!

We also play lots of maths games and sing plenty of counting songs together so that we can become confident mathematicians. Some of us are already very good at counting and so we will try and help those friends who are still learning.

Mizzy has very high expectations of what we can achieve both academically and socially. We are taught how important it is to be kind to each other, as well as being courteous and positive. Our classroom is a happy and vibrant place and we can’t wait to see how much we will accomplish!

RMR's Class Charter

Each class at St. Stephen’s Primary School will complete a class charter, outlining agreements for members of the class and duty bearers (adults). All pupils are entitled to receive their rights. This class charter will form the basis of a display in class, be displayed on the class website page and also be used for class disciplinary matters.
